A quick notice to all our local friends. We will be out on location for the next two days doing the Prince of Peace Holiday Bazaar in Lakewood with our best selection of paracord too date.
Everyone is invited to come by and grab some stocking stuffers for the holidays, and play bumper cars for the fun of it.

So, after a week of tying knots like hamsters on crack, we thought we were ready for a day of massive non stop football.
Turned out that the weather was not as favorable as it could have been and we got a bit of everything. Clouds, rain, wind, and some sun breaks, but the kids played their hearts out through it all! The Junior Vikings crew was really fun to work with, and this could be something really, really big next year.
We did get to play with all the toys: Tanks, rock crawlers, and hover bumpers! Weather or not, some really good times!

So, this afternoon we went back out to Buckley to hang with the two Daves. It was a very quiet night. School being back in session and the pending rain, folks just went home. As it works out sometimes, you just don't know how cool things will pan out in the end. In today's case we had the privilege of meeting an awesome lady who we will refer to in the future as Miss B. She is the wife of one of Americas most unsung heroes, those that are not afraid to be under the sea for months at a time. What a Lady! She has a very sleek and stylish booth with intoxicating products. Overall, a fun mellow evening. Just a bunch of BSing. Is that a word??? LOL

Got the rack retro fit done today so we can set up and label up our last version of the paracord display. from this point forward everything will be on the truck period. Soldier A also got a few of the new bottle lanyards done as well. Two new sizes so the larger can be used on bigger bottles.
See everyone at the Grocery Outlet in Bonney Lake Tomorrow!

So, stepping back from the Ark completion again, we worked on the final retrofit of the paracord display racks. We have been asked not to give up on the paracord. So, we won't! That being said however, it needs to get much simpler as far as set up and breakdown are concerned. Ran out of paint for the first section back on it tomorrow.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back from chasing the beast and do a good old home town weekend event. That is exactly what this weekend turned out to be.
As everyone knows Saturday was all about setup, nothing really thrilling. Saturday was a nice warmup for today.
We got on location extra early, being that it wasn't that far from our AO. An awesome neighbor and growing friend was coming up to watch the parade and hang out for a bit. He had no idea what he was going to end up getting into, and he loved it at the end of the day!

We all played all day long! Gotta say kids can really wear you out!
Reconnected with a lot of old pals not to mention the epic tank wars in the process!

Well, as fate would have it, today did not go well. We got a real late start due to other scheduling and the epoxy flashed faster than we could work it, mainly because of the heat, and we lost the entire section we were trying to lay on. No photos... Soldier A was pissed.
All we could do is roll on a few new coats of epoxy and get ready for touch up paint. Gotta get her dolled up for the Labor Day events!

Soldier A did something new this afternoon. He took the production out to Buckley to the Buckley Public Market which is owned and operated by our buddies known as the two Dave's.
This turned out to be a really fun evening and a few of the munchkins almost wore Soldier A out on the bumper car track!
Check our schedule page to see when he is going back out their events.

As always, we are months behind in our postings. So many things have happened since the bomb that was dropped on us at Christmas last year, the world just seems to be spinning like a wild ride on a tilt-a-whirl!
However, we are now slowly, very slowly, starting to get some form of stability and focus again. It's our own motor pool now.
So, today we went out to the Grocery Outlet to hang with our friends and let Soldier A get some good old fashioned fresh air. We also wanted to take another opportunity to let people see and play with the new hover bumper cars even though the track is not finished. Doesn't matter, they are still really fun!
Being that we haven't been in the field for a while, we met a lot of new people that didn't know anything about us, so it was quite refreshing. Of course, the Dragon Wagon got all of the attention. Tiffany just can't help but do her rock star thing everywhere she goes!
Many thanks to everyone that stopped by and made this a great day!

Our first time at the Rainier School Summer Fest. What a BLAST!
Hope nobody gets a swelled head from this post but, this was a super little event. The coordinator and crew that run this event are spot on.
High quality vendors, good food, and a really good live band all day! Tiffany and Matilda were big hits as always, and so were the bumper cars and tanks. If they will have us back we will rock this event again in 2020!
By then, the rock crawlers should be in operation as well!

More layers of body filler on the back half of the bed today. This is really starting to drag out but, as said before it has to be done.

We can't believe this property buying BS is actually turning into this kind of nightmare! But, Soldier A says we have the worst real estate agent he has ever dealt with.
So, today was mostly about packing and organizing how we are going to move depending on how this whole thing goes down. Expecting a knock on the doo from the health department any day now.
Despite all this crap we managed to get some more air file work done and lay in some more body filler on the worst are of the back floor.

Think we got the last touch up layer of body filler down today. A heavy run over with the air file should tell the tale tomorrow.

Threw down the first layer of body filler aka floor leveler lol. Then the needle scaling continued. Scaling is an amazingly noisy and boring task.

Started the day with a trip to get more electrical parts. Then it was back to needle scaling while B the electrician built out some of the things he needed to before installing.
The scaling stopped and sanding started as B began to work his magic!
It was a long day but, buy the end the ARK was fired up and running off of shore power. This is a huge milestone for us.
