Apparently, while doing some work on the table saw first thing this morning he started staring at the rear of the truck and decided that he was not happy with the way the rear patio cover looked. He said it looked out of place and incomplete. Then the neighbor from across the street, who has shown a great deal of interest in the project, came over and they started to POW WOW about what to do.
At this point, the rear overhang had become structural, so whatever was to be done would be totally cosmetic. Mostly it was decided that the rear overhang needed to have a more flowing look to the way it comes off of the main box.
A plan was devised to take some high density foam and create gap fillers that could be custom shaped and glassed into place. This is going to add several days to the project, but he has to have everything just right in his mind. LOL!
The one positive thing that goes along with what he is now doing is the fact that he is also starting to fill voids and get epoxy on the roof, thereby beginning to make things water
proof up there, and that's the most important thing of all at this point.
