Long, hard, cold, but productive. That pretty much says everything about today.In a nutshell, everything that we put on the nose cone yesterday turned into a huge mess in the afternoon rain and had to be sanded off this morning. After running through many sanding disks, the cleanup was done.
We had a visitor come by and pick up some trailer bows and top that we no longer need and he was a really nice guy. After that it was back to the nose cone.Soldier A put two real good coats of epoxy on everything that was ready and some more fairing compound where it was needed most. And then the showers started again damn it!
Determined not to have a repeat of yesterday, Soldier A took the heat gun and umbrella and stayed on the hood of the truck putting heat on everything until it flashed. It took until just after dark, but he did it!
