Threw down the first layer of body filler aka floor leveler lol. Then the needle scaling continued. Scaling is an amazingly noisy and boring task.
One couples journey to build their ultimate overlanding camper.

Started the day with a trip to get more electrical parts. Then it was back to needle scaling while B the electrician built out some of the things he needed to before installing.
The scaling stopped and sanding started as B began to work his magic!
It was a long day but, buy the end the ARK was fired up and running off of shore power. This is a huge milestone for us.

Crossed another threshold today! Got the first section of floor insulation and sub floor installed. Then it was time to get back on the needle scaling, which we both hate lol!
Also got a visit from the electrical wizard B. He just wanted to line out how we are going finish up this phase of the electrical system to get the ARK powered up. A huge step!

Got the access door cut in today. This will be the door we open to hook up our shore power as well as flip the switch to change over from shore to solar battery bank. Still gotta get that part worked out so we can be totally off grid if wanted.

Amazing how much red tape and BS is involved in buying a property these days but, it is what it is and it ate up half of our day today. Even so, we got several things done and I had Soldier A make a video.

Today was about handling issues and chasing more materials. With the F150 going down yesterday we are in a bit of a pinch and have had to fall back to the ever reliable bobbed deuce. Hoping to get the electric access door installed and start wrapping up the electrical system for now.

Got the bedroom floor down today. We really like the results and might do the first floor with the same material. Also had a chance to start the finish body work on the shower pan as well.

Lots of fun today! Got the kitchen countertop installed permanently. Then we plugged the drain hole that was drilled in the wrong place. Unpacked the water heater, just gotta figure out where it will sit and how it will be plumbed.
Then it was back to framing. Since we have decided to add a privacy wall on the drivers side of the loft bedroom, there is more blocking to be installed as well as the backing for the TV mount in the bed room.
Kinda cool to see where the TV will be hanging.

This is not a teaser post. LOL! Under the circumstances we just haven't had time to post updates. We have so many awesome build pictures to share with everyone. We will post everything when we get settled again.
With the expertise of J the plumber we got the kitchen sink roughed in today and started making plans for how we are going to exit the gray water from the Ark. It's looking like the Dragon Wagon is definitely going to be home for some time.
