Well, we have been on a bit of a hiatus for almost 6 weeks now, and very little has gotten done on the project. The holidays followed by soldier B taking a two week, well deserved vacation, meant a lot of goofing off for everyone here at the motor pool. During these weeks we did get some more parts located and ordered. We also experienced some age related problems with the grocery getter.
We noticed one morning that the forward running lights were not working, and when we opened them up to see if it was the bulb, we got a nasty surprise. Both the bulb and the socket were totally rusted and rotted out. So, we hit the old internet and got a couple of new ones from our friends at C&C Equipment. That was the project of the day. Installed painted and fully functional. This was a good day!
