Yes, been more than a year since we last posted, and no we are not dead 😂😂😂. As those that follow our journey know, the new motor pool location that we purchased was not what we needed for our specific situation but we decided to dig in make the investment and try to make it work.

Most of the restructuring of the property is complete and we are getting back on track with the trucks, trailers, and business. We've been touching on that in the last few posts very briefly.

So, today we figured we would take the girls out to Grocery Outlet and show off  their new paint jobs and shiny tires.

Got started on Matilda's new camo paint job today only to end up running out of paint. Gonna try and stop buy the blue box tomorrow morning on the way to Grocery Outlet and grab some more. She'll just have to go as is for the day.

So, after a week of tying knots like hamsters on crack, we thought we were ready for a day of massive non stop football.

Turned out that the weather was not as favorable as it could have been and we got a bit of everything. Clouds, rain, wind, and some sun breaks, but the kids played their hearts out through it all! The Junior Vikings crew was really fun to work with, and this could be something really, really big next year.

We did get to play with all the toys: Tanks, rock crawlers, and hover bumpers! Weather or not, some really good times!

So, this afternoon we went back out to Buckley to hang with the two Daves. It was a very quiet night. School being back in session and the pending rain, folks just went home. As it works out sometimes, you just don't know how cool things will pan out in the end. In today's case we had the privilege of meeting an awesome lady who we will refer to in the future as Miss B. She is the wife of one of Americas most unsung heroes, those that are not afraid to be under the sea for months at a time. What a Lady! She has a very sleek and stylish booth with intoxicating products. Overall, a fun mellow evening. Just a bunch of BSing. Is that a word??? LOL

So, with the display racks retro fitted we went out to the old reliable GO to set up the display for what we hope will be close to the last layout. Lots of people came by to visit so, it took longer than expected but it was fun!

For the last couple of days we have been doing repairs and moving forward with the boat racing attraction. The little race boat arrived and we think it is awesome fun. so the race course construction has begun.

Soldier A has been saving used dryer sheets for some time now and is trying a new method with them instead of fiber glass cloth. The testing of this method yielded a very solid and hard product so he is going forward with the plan. So, thrifty!

Had a very fun and successful outing at Grocery Outlet today. Got to hang out and play with some of our local buds.

We also had the opportunity to test the battery operating system for the portable slot car track. So, we are throwing up a short video of the test success.

Tank Battles got a little crazy tonight! In dim light everything seems so much more intense. The Sultan Shindig is a blast!

Weather was definitely not in favor of a car show, but Dream Builders is for an awesome cause. So, we were all in for the day.

We set up everything! Truck with the paracord, shooting gallery, tank battlefield, and the new slot car track. For those that braved the weather we were a giant rolling toy box!

Looks like a lot of hard working people got had this weekend. Hard to believe there are people that would dupe so many others during the holiday season.

Total patron attendance this weekend was probably less than 400. With 50 plus vendors, that meant most went home in the hole and hungry. Our hearts go out to all of them.

As we started to make the rounds and talk to most of them we found out that almost every vendor was a first timer. The few that were returns said that this was pretty much the same thing as last year.

All of a sudden it became very clear that this whole thing was a work. It seems that for the last four or five years  this crew has been going out and soliciting an entire new group of vendors for a supposed Christmas event that is really just a joke!

There is next to no attendance and they serve the food at a charge to each booth as well. The average vendor went home in the hole, while this crew walked away with between 3 to 5 grand.

How do you live with yourself doing this at Christmas???

So, we packed up and headed home, looking for a way to make up for our losses  before X-Mas.,

Got down to Centralia this morning for the start of the Santa's List Bazaar. Things seemed a bit strange because there were so many vendors that we recognized from the jubilee in August. So, we said hi to everyone and got the booth read for the day.

We have had slow starts at events in the past but this was like a no start day. Almost no attendance, so we spent the day shooting the shit with our fellow vendors. Hope tomorrow is better. With Soldier A as sick as he is, this is not the time for us to be going in the hole at events.

Forgot to take pictures but nobody missed anything! LMAO!

Back at the Morton Loggers Jubilee in August we were approached and invited to do a big Christmas event in Centralia, WA this weekend. This will be the first time we have taken the Dragon Wagon inside for an event.

For the sake of all the other vendors that are going to be attending,we had to go down before everyone else and get the big girl inside and in place. We set her up and headed back to the motor pool.

Hope this is as good an event as it was described!

Orting Summerfest! What an awesome experience! We took Tiff down to Orting and she had a blast!

Parked in the center of town, she just couldn't help but be a bit of a show off. The event was awesome and run by a top notch crew that kept everything running like a race car pit crew. NASCAR eat your heart out! Pit crew pictures included ;-)

This is something we will be involved in again next year if all things go our way. As always Tiff had the kids screaming and begging to get in her;

we're working on that. Then the fairy princesses showed up to give Tiff their blessing!

Over and done! Yes kids, we are back home tonight from the Enumclaw Street Fair. We have done this event twice now and again this year it was really cool.

There was something different this year though. We met one of the coolest and funniest families in the area. The bullshitting  factor was a 10 on the scale all day Friday and Saturday. Without a doubt this was the most fun we've had at a close local event, and got as close to the insanity of Packwood as we could and not offend the sensitive people. Like we really give a shit about doing that anyway.

B and A are techies and were trying to help Soldier A figure out how to add some new thrills to the passenger side of Tiffany for future events. As we all know, when it comes to technology, he's a Neanderthal. But, the brains and balls are a rollin' for new and exciting things.

As always, Tiffany was strutting her stuff and was a huge hit with the kids and grownups alike. One lady even made the comment that "Everyone out here has a canopy, these guys have a giant fuckin truck! Way Cool!" If people only knew how sweet Tiffany is and how much fun she is to drive they'd be shocked.

So, with luck, tomorrow starts the preparation and construction of the new box that Tiffany will carry for us. Plans include a full RV interior, gull
wings or canopies to protect the merchandise and flat screens, and if we girls get our way, an observation deck on the very top, complete with hand rails and sun shade. Soldier A is working the math right now. Keeping in mind DOT law says no higher than 13' 6", and Tiff is really big to start with.

Great thanks to B, A, and J for making this such a kick ass weekend!

Tunes @ Tapps again! We just couldn't wait to get to the field today, because  we wanted to open up the VIP mezzanine deck for the Johnny Cash tribute group. Everyone in the motor pool is a HUGE fan.

Got everything set up in time to do a hat giveaway and settle in for an awesome show. Turned out to be the best T@ T event yet. And as usual, Tiff was a BIG hit.

David and Amber, along with the whole Bonney Lake crew, make things so much fun!!! AND it's Mardi Gras beads for the next weeks to come!

PS. We have had loads of comments about calling a 22,000 pound 6x6 "Tiff", but she is just soooo

sweet!

Tunes @ Tapps 2!!!

So, tonight was the second season opener for our local concert season! What a great outing for some jazz music in the park.

Tiffany is just starting to get herself together as the new flagship for the business, but the kids just can't get enough of her. V was on duty, but got to hang out for a while and look after us which makes things so much more fun. Just more local fun.

Short and sweet tonight. Took both the girls out today and the were a huge hit. While setup we noticed Ramona was leaking from just behind the engine so, a rear main seal may be in the very near future.

Well, getting ready for the King County Fair, to which everyone is invited of course, the day was spent mostly on production rather than the new display trailer.

We did, however, get a basic clean out of the inside done. At least it's a start!

We're moved! That's right friends, we finally got the motor pool moved. YAY!!!

We now have a shop once again that's big enough to put the big trucks and trailers in to work on them. So, we will be back under way shortly.

We have also been out to some really cool events with the Deuce Paracord Designs business and had a lot of fun as well. We will be putting up back-dated posts on those events shortly so stay tuned.

Today we picked up a tan M105 to go with Matilda as a display trailer and this thing is in awesome shape. Once painted and the matched tires and wheels are mounted it will be the perfect display unit.

Got lots of work ahead but, things are really fun right now. A big thanks to everyone that follows us and has helped our little endeavors grow!
